Bridget Swinney combined years of experience as a registered dietitian and nutrition counselor with practical advice—learned from being a mom—and turned it into three practical consumer books: Eating Expectantly, Healthy Food for Healthy Kids, and Baby Bites. Eating Expectantly was chosen as one of the Top Ten Parenting Books by Child Magazine.
Bridget has been involved in a variety of public speaking and spokesperson events. She has done over 125 media interviews including appearances on Good Morning America, The Today Show, The Fox Network and The Food Network. She has been a spokesperson for disposable diapers for Procter and Gamble and is the former media spokesperson for the Colorado Dietetic Association.
She currently works as a nutrition consultant and freelance writer. She has a Masters Degree in Nutrition and has been a registered dietitian for 25 years. Her writing appears regularly in Parenting Magazine as well as Parent’s Magazine and Parent’s Expecting.
Bridget brings a very practical aspect to her work. She works at home where she is the mother of two teen boys, and volunteers with her local district's School Health Advisory Council.
