Laura Dyer, author of Look Who’s Talking!: How to Enhance Your Child’s Language Development Starting at Birth received her BS in communication disorders from Florida State University and her MCD in speech-language pathology from Auburn University. She specialized in normal language development in infants at Florida State and coordinated the International Student Program in the Speech-Language Pathology Department at Auburn. After working with adults and children on speech and language skills for nine years, she began developing materials that would help parents learn more about speech and language acquisition. She lives with her husband and children in the Nashville area, where she has also produced an educational music CD.
