About Kenn Nesbitt

Kenn Nesbitt wrote his first children’s poem, “Scrawny, Tawny Skinner,” in 1994, inspired by a friend’s four-year-old daughter who did everything she could to get out of eating her dinner! Since then, Kenn has written five books of humorous children’s poetry, including The Aliens Have Landed at Our School! and When the Teacher Isn't Looking. His poems have been included in several anthologies of humorous children’s poetry, including If Kids Ruled the School and No More Homework! No More Tests!, on audio CDs, and in textbooks. His poems have also been featured on the TV show Jack Hanna’s Wildlife Adventures on the Family Channel. Kenn lives in Spokane, Washington, with his wife and two children.
